Desks and seats

A seat is a person. A desk is a tool they've connected. One person can have several desks.

A seat is a person: what you're billed per, and what carries their role, team, and permissions. A desk is a specific tool connection for that person: Priya has three desks (Pi, Codex, Cursor), all under one seat.

This separation matters because people genuinely use more than one AI tool, often for different kinds of work. Routing and policy follow the person, not the tool. The same flows and the same budget apply whether Priya is in Pi or Cursor.

What syncs to a desk

Every active flow, the current policy revision, approved models, and blocked request types. A desk pulls this on connect and on a regular interval, or immediately with `verybear sync`.

Removing a seat disconnects all of that person's desks immediately. There's no lingering access to flows or policy.
