Connect a tool

Connect Claude, Codex, Pi, Paseo, or Cursor as a desk so requests route through your flows.

A desk is a tool connected to Verybear. Once connected, requests typed into that tool are routed through your organization's flows automatically. Nothing changes about how the tool looks or feels to use.

verybear sync

Run `verybear sync` after connecting any tool to pull the latest flows and policy immediately, instead of waiting for the next automatic sync.

Claude

Install the Verybear extension from the Claude settings panel, then run `verybear login` in the same browser profile. Claude will show a small Verybear indicator in the composer once connected.

Codex

Run `verybear connect codex` from the terminal where Codex runs. This registers the desk and writes a scoped config file Codex reads on startup.

Pi

Pi detects an active Verybear session automatically on machines where you've run `verybear login`. No separate connect step needed.

Paseo

In Paseo, open Settings → Integrations → Verybear and paste the pairing code shown by `verybear pair paseo`.

Cursor

Run `verybear connect cursor`. Cursor picks up routed flows the next time you open a chat panel. Existing chat history is unaffected.

VS Code is supported through the same extension mechanism as Cursor: run `verybear connect vscode`.
